Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited (the 'Company') would like to inform the resolution of the Board of Directors Meeting No. 5/2009 held on 13th November 2009 that the meeting has approved the sale of investment in common stock in California Wow Experience Public Company Limited at the amount of 53,370,600 shares or equal 17.79%. The Board of Directors authorized the management discretionary proceeding for the completion of the sale of investment. The Company sold aforesaid amount in the Stock Exchange of Thailand in total selling value of 39,620,497 Baht and the Company still hold the common stock at the amount of 57,000,079 shares or equal 19%.
The value of transactions compared with the value of assets of Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited and its subsidiary as at 30th September 2009 is less than 15% which is not required the disclosure under the notifications of the Board of Governors of the Stock Exchange of Thailand 'Re: Disclosure of Information and Other Acts of Listed Companies Concerning the Acquisition and Disposition of Assets, 2004'.
