Attention : President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand
According to Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited (the 'Company') has the resolution of the Annual OrdinaryShareholders'Meeting No.2/2003, held on April,2003 regarding the issuance and offering of warrants to directors and employees of the Company (ESOP - W1) to purchase ordinary shares in amount of19,500,000 units and resolution of the Annual Ordinary Shareholders' Meeting No. 6/2007,held on April 2, 2007 regarding the issuance and offering of warrants to directors and employees of the Company (ESOP - W3) to purchase ordinary shares in amount of 20,000,000 units,the Company has received capital from exercised warrants between January 1, 2008 to June 30, 2008 as detailed follows;
1. Baht 7,522,337.40 derived from the 10th right exercising on warrants to purchase ordinary shares which the Company has allotted to the directors and employees of the Company (ESOP - W1) on March 31, 2008.
2. Baht 9,542,860.80 derived from the last right exercising on warrants to purchase ordinary shares which the Company has allotted to the directors and employees of the Company (ESOP - W1) on June 13, 2008.
3. Baht 6,858,930.00 derived from the 2nd right exercising on warrants to purchase ordinary shares which the Company has allotted to the directors and employees of the Company (ESOP - W3) on February 29, 2008.
4. Baht 1,695,685.70 derived from the 3rd right exercising on warrants to purchase ordinary shares which the Company has allotted to the directors and employees of the Company (ESOP - W3) on June 2, 2008.
The total amount is Baht 25,619,813.90.
The total amount received from the right exercising on warrants stated above was reserved for the Company's working capital.The usage of fund from the capital increase is in line with the objectives earlier disclosed by the Company to the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
