Subject : Submit the financial statement and the financial results for the 2nd quarter of 2007

Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited (The Company) would like to submit the financial statement and Reviewed Audit report for the 2nd quarter of 2007

And would like to clarify the financial results for the 2nd quarter of 2007 ended June 30,2007 which different from the same period last year more than 20% with a net profit of 737.76 million baht was increased 203.33% from the same fiscal year 2006 which had a net profit of 243.22 million baht or increasing by 140% if comparison with the first half of year 2006. The main reasons that cause better operational results of year 2007 comparing with the same period of year 2006 are as follows :

The revenue in the 2nd quarter of 2007 had a net profit of 2,189 million baht ,was increased 50.82% that comparing with the same period of year 2006 which had a net profit of 1,451 million baht. Due to profit on disposals of property, plant and equipment to the property fund (MJLF) since the ended of 2nd quarter of 2007 net amount 725.64 million baht.

The main cost increased from cost of VCD/DVD and film rights in 2nd quarter of 2007 was increased 382.62% from additional investment in VCD/DVD and film rights more than the same period of year 2006.

For the selling and administrative expenses of the 2nd quarter of 2007 was increased 57.09% from the same period of year 2006 ,due to had one time amortization in subsidiaries assets amount 86.46 million baht.
